How to Create a Blog in Less than 10 Minutes (Page 1)

What Is A Blog?

A blog is a discussion or informational website. Most blogs function as much as online newspaper or journal. A good and useful blog should carry useful information and what makes blogging so interesting is that one can literally write about any topic of interest. This makes blogging vast, interesting and serious business.

How to Setup A Blog:

To setup a blog is very easy with few simple steps to follow plus you can setup a blog 100% free.

You can setup a blog using Wordpress or using blogger from google. For starters I will advise you use blogger as it's as easy as ABC.

Now let's start with blogger from google.

How to Create a blog.
First you need a gmail account and login to the gmail account you wish to use then:
  1. Sign in to Blogger.com
  2. On the left, click the Down arrow .
  3. Click New blog.
  4. Enter a name for your blog; this should be the name you want your blog to be known by. Use this to express your passion
  5. Choose a blog address, or URL.
  6. Choose a template; a template is already designed GUI (Graphic User Interface)
  7. Click Create blog.

Note the title of your blog defines what your blog is about. See how to choose the right title for your blog Here

For the blog address, that's your blog domain name or URL. So here just write the name you want to use without "www" or ".com" extension. E.g paulomogie. Google will automatically add ".blogspot.com" and it will become Promisecourse.blogspot.com when you are done and if the name is available for use.

If the blog address you choose isn't available, Google will tell you it's unavailable for use. Stop, think and choose and another name. that simple.

Now that you have created your first blog it's time to make your first post. My take here is that you should go for topics that you have great knowledge of and make sure your contents are original.

Note: The layout button allows you to arrange or rearrange how things look on your blog.
